Hear the Mozart Great Mass in St Paul’s with 2 choirs and stellar soloists!

 

 

Victoria Chorale is combining with award-winning Sunshine Coast Oriana Choir and stunning soloists to perform the Mozart Great Mass, 7.30pm Sat 19 Sept in St Paul’s Cathedral, and the previous weekend on Sun 13 Sep 2:30pm, on the Sunshine Coast at Lake Kawana Community Centre.

Soloists

 

Natalie Peluso (nee Christie), soprano.  Travelling to London after winning the Australian Singing Competition with her warm, lyric soprano voice, Natalie  became  a Principal Artist  with the Welsh National Opera and sang at the Royal Opera House, Covent Gardens.  Returning to Australia, she has performed at the Sydney Opera house and with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.

 

 

 

Sally-Anne Russell, mezzo-soprano.  One of Australia’s finest singers, Sally-Anne has over fifty operatic roles in her repertoire. She has sung with Opera Australia, all of the State Opera companies and all of the major Australian symphony orchestras and has a major international career, singing in fifteen countries and has been recorded on ABC Classics, Chandos, Naxos and Decca.

 

 

 

James Egglestone, tenor.   One of Australia’s finest lyric tenors, James has performed extensively with Opera Australia, many state opera companies, and with many of Australia’s best orchestras and choirs. He is a dual Helpmann award winner and recipient of both the Johnston Bequest and the Belcanto Scholarhip. His international performances include ones in the Netherlands, NZ and Jakarta.

 

 

 

Oliver Mann,  bass-baritone.  Oliver’s stunning voice has led to roles with Opera Australia Victorian Opera, Lyric Opera and many concert performances around Australia. Oliver juggles his opera and classical music career with performances and recordings as a contemporary singer-songwriter, informed by his love of singing and his superb singing technique.
